Abstract

This project aims to adapt the teaching of core subjects in educational psychology to the changes introduced by the European credit system, through the introduction of student-centred methodologies and the use of ICTs to improve student learning in these subjects.

This can be achieved with:

- The redesign of the teaching of the theoretical subjects based on methodological strategies centred on student work, such as case analysis and problem-based learning.

- The use of ICTs to promote student collaborative, autonomous and self-regulated work in the redesigned subjects, as well as to improve tutoring and communication and individual support processes between teachers and students.

The aim of this project is consistent with those established in a previous project funded by the DURSI (project 237 MQD 2002 in a call for projects to improve teaching quality), which sought to redesign the practical credits of the same subjects as those specified in the new project, using case analysis and ICTs. ..(+)
