The aim of this project is to develop tools to assess the characteristics of different practices of university teaching innovation designed to improve student learning based on a constructivist psychoeducational approach to instructional processes.

The objectives of the research are to:

- Identify and describe relevant issues, based on the adoption of a constructivist perspective, for consideration in the building of tools for gathering data concerning the design and implementation of a proposal for innovation, and to assess its contribution to university teaching quality.

- Develop tools for the analysis of teaching innovation experiences aimed at promoting student autonomous learning through the use of methods that include case analysis, problem solving and project work, and which incorporate ICTs as a means to improving teaching quality.

- Use the tools developed in instructional situations of teaching innovation to collect and analyse empirical data and, based on an analysis of the findings reached, to revise the tools.

- Compare the tools developed with those produced by other teaching innovation teams using methodologies that include case analysis, problem...(+)
